Brown Quartz forms naturally in this color. It is not a "famous" gemstone. You might be familiar with other types of Quartz that have names: Amethyst, Citrine, Peridot..... The brown version is sometimes called "Smoky Quartz". This set of gems measures across, with a really nice color tone. They have a distinct Peach Flash when light reflects into the stone, which is lovely. Earthy and natural! I have set them into Argentium Silver Settings.
